NOW the follow up series.......
The Legend of Korra is great IMO. Aang is/was a younger kid in ATLA and Korra is like 16-17 at the shows start. You do not need to watch ATLA to understand TLOK as they do that in the show and if you get through the first season and like it it only gets better. I'm hyped for the next series. Korra is a straight beast. I don't much like UB sets but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I wanted Korra more then Aang.
EDIT: WITHOUT SPOILERS The last Airbender has a much more underlying/light hearted take of what is occurring in the world at large as Aang was a kid so they don't get to deep early on.
The Legend of Korra starts lighthearted and then takes the gloves off. By then end of the first season you will see what I mean.
Sounds great, I'm going to watch it. Thank you!
I fully recommend it to anyone whom likes animation and again Korra is....without spoilers a bit more 'serious' then ATLA even with the world set up in ATLA.
Cant much tell you about, Legend of Korra but i guess it has a big fansbase and it's somekind of story continuity, i guess ? pretty sure saw zuko in old age or something. Maybe i will give this also a chance, in the future.
Make a big way around the Real Actors Film, it was really Horrible...
And Uncle Iroh voiced by Mako, for my older fellows is the old wizard in Conan that helps him in both films. His VA work is head and shoulders above anything in Korra's series. His death was a loss and left a void that is noticed in the last season of Airbender.
And nothing, nothing in all of Korra is half as emotional or heartfelt as hearing Iroh brokenly sing about a little soldier boy marching home while mourning his son who died in war trying to fill his fathers shoes after Iroh for honor stood down.
Thanks for the heads up. Those live action version rarely go well.
