Blame the difference of inertia of two objects.
And just why would a bullet be moving so fast? It was shot from a gun, because someone pulled the trigger.
It is an undeniable chain of events.
so before the invention of guns, people totally didn't kill eachother with swords, axes, spears, bow and arrow, etc.
Gun control happens, and guess what? It does not deter crime. I watch True Crime Shows all the time, and in places where there is gun control, people are still being killed by other objects.

Guns are a device that enables humans to kill easier. Hence, there is no clear winner in the debate.

When a idiot picks up any weapon its going to end badly, so maybe dont arm idiots or make it so they can't acquire any guns to begin with.

But banning guns is an easy way to prevent it.
Killing spree with a knife is not as lethal. And people tend to be more respectful when their target can fight back.
