I really enjoyed the card game in FF8.

I started playing Gwent when it launched as a standalone game and built a complete card collection. Unfortunately, the game didn't meet the developers' financial expectations, so updates were discontinued, though the servers were kept online.

I despise it, I don't want to play a card game in RPG game, that's not why I bought it.

Gwent from the witcher games was enjoyable, i liked caravan from NV even though a lot of people hate it. Generally any game with a poker mini game ill play as well, only one coming to mind atm is red dead though.

I remember loving Triple Triad, but somehow I didn't like Gwent.

I like the "collectables" aspect of both, and it would be cool to see one in a big open-world RPG (looking at you Bethesda) with even MORE depth than those two, more akin to Pokemon TCG or Magic: The Gathering.

Oh damn i dread to think about caravan, heard its ingame tutorial once and decided to never touch it, but i will soon enough for the achiev and probably never again.


The oversimplified gwent in the witcher 3 was fun enough and i always play poker in every open world game that has it. At some point i might even bother learning how to play poker
