Should the internet be taken away from overly negative people?
People who spend too much time online trying to make other people feel bad. Should we take away their internet?

The way you casually ask a question like that and give ideas to tyrants makes me feel bad. So let's start doing what you've suggested with taking away your internet. Then your freedom of movement just in case, because obviously we don't want you going door-to-door making people feel bad offline. Also, should people like you really spend oxygen? See, others can play that game too. :SFObjection:
feel bad how? just words? no in that case, people ought to learn to take randoms on the internet less seriously
No it should be taken away from certain people who commit certain crimes involving children though
Imagine if trolls couldn't take their frustration out on others virtually....do you think they might move to something more drastic?

They would just get jobs and lead more fulfilling lives instead of trying to make people suicide all day.

You think? Getting a job does not sound like it would fulfill that same purpose of trolling people. Everyone engages in behaviors for a reason. If you remove an outlet for frustration, they will find another.

If we did that 90% of OT would disappear forever.

A total shutdown is too harsh a measure; temporary bans are often more effective. People are capable of change, and by imposing a permanent block, you deny them the chance to learn, improve, and grow.

Because they are unsatisfied with their lives and they can only feel good when they feel like they have power over others. The first time they make someone die, it is such a rush for them and they feel so powerful and important like they have an actual purpose in life and it becomes addictive. That's why there are so many of them preying on innocent victims.

I see where you are coming from, but I think that's a little extreme. I would go as far as to say that most trolls do not want their victims to off themselves...they are just looking for attention. Have you tried being nice on a forum? From what I have observed, the person that pisses people off are way more likely to get attention when compared to those who are being nice. I troll, yet, I would never forgive myself if my actions were directly linked to a suicide. I only argue with others who argue back, I never continue if the person shows any distress. When I get banned, and I have been banned many times, do I just say "ok" and continue with my career and life? Nope. I go to another platform to call people out and piss them off.

I'm not ashamed of it, we all have ways to deal with stress. I just target those who think their beliefs and values are above everyone else's.
