You think? Getting a job does not sound like it would fulfill that same purpose of trolling people. Everyone engages in behaviors for a reason. If you remove an outlet for frustration, they will find another.
I see where you are coming from, but I think that's a little extreme. I would go as far as to say that most trolls do not want their victims to off themselves...they are just looking for attention. Have you tried being nice on a forum? From what I have observed, the person that pisses people off are way more likely to get attention when compared to those who are being nice. I troll, yet, I would never forgive myself if my actions were directly linked to a suicide. I only argue with others who argue back, I never continue if the person shows any distress. When I get banned, and I have been banned many times, do I just say "ok" and continue with my career and life? Nope. I go to another platform to call people out and piss them off.
I'm not ashamed of it, we all have ways to deal with stress. I just target those who think their beliefs and values are above everyone else's.
