Also, never kiss butt in an interview and seem too eager to please (no one likes and respects that), and make sure they’re paying you. None of that “but you’re getting real world experience” BS.
Internships will put you to work, often doing crappy slave work where you’re not writing any code, but which is benefiting them. If their company and project is benefiting from your work, you’re entitled to being paid.

Everyone is out to shaft you unfortunately, so if you can gain independence that is best in the long run even if you do land the gig.
Maybe they had other candidates booked for an interview, I wouldn't read into too much about them telling you they've heard enough.

Depends, they could soak up lot’s of experience and learn from seniors. Even a year goes a long way, everyone can study and know how to do something, but the actual workplace is far more dynamic and requires adaptability.

My interns come out making over 100 per hour pretty fast. I think most on this site never had a job or really understand how the adult world works at all.
Ask what you're signed up to do and what do I get in return. I have already experience it this and is considered compensated for my knowledge.
The case is that internships are many times slave labour. Them don't someone who can replace themselves since they're hired to make it look like they're doing a good job.
When it's time to complain them go after the intern.
Why would any company hire interns on a software company when there's abundant of school students who are practicing it.
It's not the 16th century.
If someone took 20 years to learn C++ they are worth nothing. lol No those brain surgeons make so much money you dont wanna know. They are in 500k foreign cars their first month on the job usually. Interns are not for that, they are for 2 year bachelor grads that the boss isnt sure about and doesnt really want to hire.
As a business owner myself, by the way you put words in people’s mouths like that and try to gaslight them tells me everything I need to know about what it would be like working for or with you.
I think only a teenager would have. Im not on here all day every day and doubt anyones claims who are. I run a business and have my own interns. And I wouldnt hire anyone that came in acting ignorant and like the world revolves around them. I dont even want interns in my shop, its a favor to them.
And I dont think people that is here 24/7 even has a job, like I said. I can get on cam with myself in a big house, nice car, big warehouse, can you? Lets do it. Thats why you dont lie, you get called out in front of everyone.
