They seem to have fallen back to something closer to her traditional physique, with face more like the reboot. Original reboot Lara had a more reasonable physique imo (~0.6-0.7 waist:hip), whereas the original Lara had a certain lopsideness. Never measured waist:hip but it's probably as low as 0.5, maybe 0.45. Something traditionally only achievable with prolonged corset wearing. Hips too wide and waist too small looks wrong, even if it still can activate the almonds.

Would you consider the female lead on Control to be "WOKE LOOK"? At what point are you just being weird for wanting symmetrical beauty in every game?

Not just this one. The other trailer (for the other new Tomb Raider game) seemed to buck the trends, too, when at the beginning she gets the drop on a Strong Woman Of Color.

That's not supposed to happen ever. EVER.

But remember the ideological sucker punch is usually later in the game, not at the beginning. They have to wait until you've invested at least a couple of hours, and can't refund, before they throw all of The Message at you.

So I can't call it based and redpilled simply because of a trailer with some nice Sir Mixalot-bait or an apparent twist of the Rules of Oppression Hierarchy in Drama. It could be a trap.

Clearly the only solution in this brackish state of the union is to put in a BODY slider like on SR2. Then we can choose our preferred Lara proportions. SMFH
