I've known a regular or two here to post drunk before. When I can tell I think it's funny. Let them have their fun - and hope they don't fall overboard after zig-zagging through all the threads.

Although if they're completely plastered I'd need a few drinks myself, it helps to translate what they're saying.

I'm not a fan of alcohol myself, largely due to the taste, but there are some advantages to it I guess. Some people with a lot of social anxieties really only break free from it after they've had a few and it can help some become more fun, or more social, but if it removes the inhibitions of the wrong people it can become violent, and ugly. But as for alcoholism itself, becoming dependent on an alerted state of mind is a weakness.

I mean, it is their life, and they can do whatever they want, but I would hate for them to have to go through that because drinking and quitting are both dangerous.

i love the rehabilitation process more than anything, i can't sober up without alcohol :c

It is interesting to see what kind of drunk they are, I imagine it shows a little beyond the public appearance into a part of their true self.

I don't anymore. When I drunk post, I try to be funny. And funny gets banned.

You can drunk post with the best of them, MinionJoe. All good in my book - you get chatty and your funny is on full display. Top shelf book in my opinion. It's a shame it gets you in trouble. Most of my favorite posters here know what happens when they cross the line - cuz they've done it multiple times before.

That said, I have great respect for Ulfrinn. He makes deep runs into the political threads before catching a ban. And you just know he's getting reported.

Perhaps you can drunk post if you don’t post in the political threads. Maybe that's the solution.

Alcohol should be illegal and weed should be legal. I would love to see the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that happens if they even tried to make alcohol illegal. Try it bro I double dawg dare you!
