aye, i think twitter and bluesky is the best place these days to get in contact with artists. they probably accept commissions on other platforms too, but those ones are just very simple ways to do it.
do you already know what you want, kayla? if so, do some research on artists by searching around, then check their socials to see if they have commissions open. some do not accept or only have them open during certain periods.
type in a general idear of what you want on a search engine and then look through images. you will usually find artists twitters or their instas and see their work, then go from there.
Furaffinity
Deviantart has gone to ♥♥♥♥♥, but is still okay for networking and finding people.
edit. I mean pixiv.
pixiv is good
furaffinity is good too but...only for furry and anthro arts.
