an unironic favourite film of mine due to its surreal qualities. it often ranks among the worst films ever made, and its definitely not good. but it is unlike anything else in this world. tommy wiseau is a truly strange human being who has lived an odd life, its the type of film only someone like him could make.

wiseau also wrote a book about himself, which then inspired a parody book about his life, which then resulted in a parody film about his life and that book and his film "the room"

a lot of FMV games tend to be unintentionally insane or surreal due to the conflicting art styles and hammy acting, some greats that i love:

others like "harvester" are purposefully satirical so it may not fit the criteria you are looking for, but its debatable how much of the cheese and oddness was intentional and how much of it just ended up being that way due to how mad the game is overall.

shenmue 1 and 2 absolutely are both unintentionally and intentionally eccentric and insane, but i lean more towards the former. much of the insanity comes from the hilariously awful english dub, and the at the time western spheres lack of exposure to much silly japanese humour.
