You do understand that no one is buying anything and that "game" is rigged with spotters/friends of the developer inflating those Steam Inventory sales prices, basically they get their money back after the deal as they are all connected to each other.

I think the developer is stupid in thinking this is a good marketing scheme as they lose money but they do make it back and then some because of people like you.
