This is true, and an odd fact I learned from working in a Chinese restaurant. Invented by a Japanese Californian by the name of Makoto Hagiwara.
The San Francisco bay area is famous for it's huge asian-american community due to all the railroad workers who came over to work on the Union Pacific line and stayed on the west coast when the job was done.

There's so many folk songs about railroad work. I wonder if the Japanese and Chinese have their own.

To be specific, Hagiwara was a Japanese immigrant, so, being born in Japan, he didn't lose his Japanese card when he came to the states.

I don't know who Hagiwara was so I can't comment on it but as far as I know from reality and stuff, once you switch sides, there is no going back. Hagiwara was an American man by the sounds of it.

Interesting way to see it. What are the sides? Is it just like every country for itself? East vs West?

NO! its just everyday reality, sometimes you might have to switch sides for varies reasons, but you switch one team for the other team, now you are on the new team and have lost your old one . Cling on to it all you want but your countries don't want you back, you are an American now, deal with it.

So countries are like sports teams? What happens when a one world government is implemented and we all become American? United Earth of America.

I would like a one world government. I would like countries to be able to vote on all world laws but also that they can govern themselves and make their own laws. We are all earthlings, we should be trying to come together.

Also English is the best language for a one world government, English and Chinese should be the world languages, everybody should be able to speak both.

Well to that I say practice the power of positive thinking. We can't get there if we're thinking about sides and teams and such what divides us.
