With the success of love and deepspace, a gacha hit deeply to the mind of lonely women and women in genera with appeal of chads acting like a dog for them and it is reverse version of selling waifus to men. It has been topping the revenue charts for years since its release. The game's massive success tells that lonely women who have high standards or are disappointed with real life realtionships can also a next target for thousands of cookie cutter games like that to women
Will it be a trend later? anime girls for men have been oversaturated from decades of milking the formulas to the point they don't hype over new girls in different hair anymore, so in order to survive these devs can target to women next. You think it is possible that women will be the main spenders in decade to come?

Love and Deepspace is popular because it’s quite well written, not because women suddenly became a new market to exploit. Companies aren’t to use your phrase ‘switching to lonely women’ they’re just realizing that the other half of the population also enjoy games when the content isn’t designed exclusively for men.

Games don't need to prioritize men and it's unfortunate if you feel insecure about it. Women aren’t some mysterious last resort demographic. We’ve always been here and the developers are finally acknowledging that.

Look, if I can't hook up with the creep who burnt down my house and killed my entire family when I was a teen, then who? Who can I hook up with? The guy who's been stalking me under the guise that it's for my "protection?" Have you even met that guy? No, really, have you?
