Instead, it's all based on the liquid assets used for all the lower level operations (read: all the warehouses, product, employees, and distribution networks that require a check to be signed). But if AI is the future, then perhaps the AI should be used to determine whether that stock can be translated to actual liquid assets, which can then be used to increase the company's overall profits and lower the operating cost. And if that means cutting more C suite AND their bonuses, stock options, and equity, so be it. ALL are equally expendable on the alter of capitalism.
Getting a massive pay off isn't my idea of being fired.
One of my bosses once was paid off about £40k to leave. Really grits me this, she messed up the bag, screwed over workers and she gets rewarded for it.
