Um, I bought a cheap printer in 2007ish, it's still running fine. As for the toner, refill kits are inexpensive.

Printers are awesome, one day I played some Lazy Town flash game and received a trophy with my name on it, the game gave me an option to print it and so I did.

my Einstein cat broke my $350 dollar printer, by utilizing Newton's second law of physics and gravity. (=

It was working fine for at least a year before that, though i used it maybe once month.

I mean, we don't talk about it because we're all fully aware.

Sometimes it's cheaper to just buy a new printer than it is to buy ink for the old one.

Epson seem to be the better brand, avoid HP.

Agreed for the most part. Anything with liquid is ♥♥♥♥.

But I have had the same black and white Brother laser printer all-in-one for going on 12 years. it was like $80-$100 (just checked it was on sale). I didnt use it for 3 years fired it up and whoop printed a form i needed no problem. Needed to scan my ID the other day whoop. also no problem. Has android and windows 11 support.

Of all the printers I have ever used at home, or work, this one has been easily the best.

I refilled the toner with a kit one time, but then after that i spent the money on the brand name one. Just because.

I should go buy another printer just so these people get some more money to keep making good printers.
