I almost got hit by a guy in a parking lot going 30mph in a Honda Ridgeline pickup truck, now obviously he was in the wrong (it was a parking lot to a church full of schoolkids seriously dude be careful) but anyway I did not see him that parking lot is always chaotic and I almost stepped out and would have gotten hit if it were not for my sister I would have died but she called out right as I was going to walk into his path.....I felt the wind from the truck and after it passed walked over to where our car and everyone else was they were all worried especially my sister who seemed as tho she was about to break down she ran over and hugged me she was so worried. now obviously as a young teenager with a full life and lots of hope for it ahead of me I should have been terrified but I wasn't and never have been since it happened in fact the only thing I was worried about was what would happen to my sister if I died and left her all alone and since that day I basically doubled down on making sure that I could protect her no matter what. anyone else have anything like that happen to them? because the more I think about it the more it seems strange that I had no fear seriously one more step and BAM!!! no more Avenger199 but I was just not scared. but again any of you all have anything like that happen to you something that should have terrified you but didn't?
