When you go too deep into history about ancient electronic devices in middle east who shouldn't exist and napoleon bringing alien tech to europe makes sense why the computer was only discovered after world war in africa.

Napoleon ability to conquer was only able by technology and stopped when his magical telescope stopped working.

They say it won't be a reboot, which is probably for the best because a reboot is probably more likely to ruin it with social politics trying to push a "narrative" that just doesn't make sense when talking about intergalactic civilizations that will have a wide variety of cultures - but on the flip-side, I do kind of wish they'd do a reboot because there were some pretty big things they messed up in their first few seasons of SG-1 that unfortunately are foundation episodes that the rest of the series build on. The main one that comes to mind for me is the first time travel episode that they did. Every time travel episode that followed got it right and made so much more sense and had continuity, but they all stem from a broken foundation and that bugs me a whole lot!

Why reboot the og when StarGate Universe exists, it left the perfect ending to pick up on again.

Jeff Bezos combined with established franchises... that's a nono for me.

In the video they're talking about it not being a Reboot, but reading the Amazon Prime blurb mentions a reboot. I hope they do answer what happened in the SGU series.

I like to think I would make better choices in his position but might even nake worse.

I don't like Bezon or his practices but wouldn't call him evil ir pretend his public life is exceptional

No.

I believe in commitment and ceremonies and rituals and vows, but not weddings or marriages.
And also, that money could go to much better things for either humanity or even just my own selfish purposes ...or my hypothetical significant other's selfish purposes.

...and before you say, "what if that's the selfish thing she wants?" -- if a woman costs that much for one event to keep happy then she's not the woman for me. ...Not just because I don't have the money.

i said it in the other thread, but most of the cast are old. not particularly looking forward to this
