So reading about him on Ace Attorney wiki tells he is accused of sexual harassments, although there is no concrete evidence or verdict, however he resigned from his position following the accusations.

I don't know anything about the situation to comment, nor make my own opinion on it, but I can see why people would be unwelcoming towards people defending Ben Judd.

Then again there was Chris Avellone who was falsely accused of sexual harassment, but turned out to be innocent. Even after that he wasn't even invited to New Vegas anniversary clip despite making most contributions to the New Vegas.
