If someone bought a game on Steam, they should be allowed to use it. Steam should not get into the habit of taking the money and then just blocking people whenever they find an excuse for it.
Also, you're not going to hit Putin with this in any way. If anything, he'll be happy about it since it proves his "evil west" propaganda, and/or because of less western influence for him to be concerned about.
That's not the point.
It's about sending a message.
And I just think it's about time that we gamers (and Steam) started doing that too.
Your country already banned trade with Russia; I think that's "sending a message" enough, apparatchik. Keep the gamers out of this ♥♥♥♥ and your politics in the toilet.
Speak for yourtself, I have also seen many people from the west too with a medieval world view on Steam , and I have nothing against rusiians or Russia.
Also they'd just make their own games and Russians would exclusively be playing them, giving Putin lots of big stonks.
