meh Im cautious around AI as I hate some of it's uses like driving trucks man I hate that and if we are not careful we know it will replace all jobs and then we'll be blobs in our houses who do nothing except be fat and waste away ugh

Most people never had any real reasoning capacity to lose, the only ideas they can develop and make use of are ultimately harmless. Their mind is a walled garden, a river of useless fluff with nothing there to conscious pluck anything out of it, and certainly not to bother to build anything it isn't instructed to by some external authority or social permission. AI is just stomping out that last 5% of buried potential, and preventing any such seeds from ever growing. AI is basically supposed to supplant the Anima / Animus and act as a technological modulatory layer over the unconscious mind. They want to keep people from any sort of direct use of the unconscious mind. AI will tell them what the unconscious says, and it will speak to the unconscious as well.

Actually humans are just dumb and will remove brain function with any object they can find.
