Doom 3DO is the worst Doom port, but considering the circumstances, she did a pretty impressive job.

Including a code to play it full screen in the event that a newer 3DO model with stronger specs was released was good forethought. And while her boss was an idiot with unrealistic expectations, he was a decent musician, and the 3DO Doom soundtrack is probably the best thing about that whole mess.

I really appreciate the love and care game developers put into their art. There is so much, so so much, time and labor involved. There aren't words for the kind of grief it causes me to watch the founders of this artform dissolve into the past. They impact us on a quantum and molecular level long after they are gone. Death is terrifying, but bringing joy through the creation of games is an admirable life's work. RIP.

I can't imagine the grief and aguish her family must have to endure. May they find peace.

She's noted for her obvious accomplishments and contributions to the art form, but it might be lesser noted that she was no doubt responsible for countless careers. What's more, is she was not just an artist, but a true hacker. A coder to the metal, with a logical brain that someone like me can only fascinate about.

She will be dearly missed. Lot's of love to her friends and family.
