Well, who does, but as you say, the world isn't obliged to treat you like a child from cradle to grave.

Because of work I start to value my personal time a bit more. I work 10 hour shifts from Monday to Friday and have weekends (if I am lucky then I have holidays off) off. During the weekend I use that time to grind my gaming sessions.

that's why it's good to be on Disability, I can sleep tell when I want stream movies and play video games whenever I want to, been on Canadian Disability O.D.S.P. since 1993, if I hadn't gotten on Disability I'd be a security guard with no benefits and no pension and probably dead from a heart attack or boredom

right now I'm streaming Jurassic World Rebirth well steam re-install's assassins creed odyssey

Yeah, one time I was visiting Canada to get some maple syrup and while crossing the border instead of asking for ID the machine just spit out a cheque. Does anybody even work there?

I work alone so essentially I am my own supervisor, I don't mind work, laid back with free snacks. I can come and go as I please, as long as the job gets done, the owners don't care how long it takes or if the hours vary. Guess I sort of hit the jackpot with this one.

Oh no, you're not a child, you have to do what most adults have to do through the entire world.

The welfare state is a bit too generous. It's pretty easy to collect disability. I went on disability my last 5 years but in my defence, I did try to get back to work after my foot was crushed by an 800 pound slab of concrete. The crutches and limping caused back problems which pain medication led to heart problems. I regret volunteering for work I had no business being part of. So there is a place for disability but it can be abused.

Streamers don't have to do this.

Universal Basic Income? I honestly wonder a lot how much America would change if we implemented even any degree of welfare that would be useful for the average person. This country is Social Darwinist in every area that matters to life and radically egalitarian everywhere it shouldn't.
