Mayonnaise or ketchup?

Why does BMW have high rates of electrical problems and random timing chain issues?

Depends on the BMW and how it was driven, from the older ones the 1 series has the most timing chain issues bc they had to save somewhere money and for newer ones, its bc poor build/material quality. But id say its still better than any car from the VW Group.

There should be a compromise, we are not animals after all (well, this is also debatable but for simplistic terms/reasons, we will say, uncivilized wild animals). How about ketchup mixed with mayonnaise (fry sauce)?

I see that you are not a fan of McDonald's Big Macs. But people will mix mayonaise and ketchup together to dip fries/chips in but also it is good on white meat chicken sandwiches but I would not necessarily put the combination on curry chicken or similar.

interesting. I say this because BMW has always built themselves on the fact that they are high quality, over performing. Perhaps all newer cars are vapid and low quality apart from limited series builds. Honda has issues with fluid based power steering but Toyota also has electrical issues as well and some newer Honda's do have timing chain issues also.

Toyota still uses rubber metal strap timing belts which I find funny to an extent but they at least moved onto electric power steering which is where most of the electrical issues may arise, apart from the trim seal and various moisture inputs on the interior similar to how they no longer use, nor supply, washers for furniture parts, Toyota has many missing rubber grommets but the brake calipers are fantastic.

Depends where you are from, here in germany i dont see VW's from the 60 very often and most of the time those are complete rebuilds. To be fair i dont see much older bmws either. Those cars suck anyways, the real golden era of BMW started witht the e36 and they are still going strong witht he 3 and 5 series. I have an E46 and it drives better than a modern Gold GTI that will break down in 30k milles bc the timing belt is going through oil.

Is it true that you never use your turn signals?

So you can explain to me then, If bmw drivers know what signals are, or is it an optional extra, like those subscription they bringing in for cars so that you can use something.

I was about to mention that. In the UK, BMW and Mercedes drivers are terrible. And not just for using turn signals.

Those are called overtake signals and i use them to indicate on what side i overtake.
