The thing Stan Lee hated in superhero films
Every single superhero is more good looking than the villain.
To him, it came across as 'if you're handsome, you're good. If you're not, you're bad'. Not to mention, they shack up with attractive love interests. He asks "Why doesn't the hero fall in love with a plain looking female?!".
Do you agree with this?

Edit:
He kind of describes Megamind, the more I think about it.

Because that's how society perceives people.

One of my pet peeves in superhero films was when the hero actor was actually an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in real life and the villain actor was actually kind and sweet.

yes, people do tend to associate good with good looking.

which isn't necessarily the case, prime example Deadpool killer

Toxic Avenger one of the few heroes that breaks the trope

I don't know, all the woman love my Thanos chin... plus I have the fastest infinite glove on the planet when they don't love me.
How about making everyone look attractive?

This would solve every problem. No one wants to be ugly or see ugly.

I think that this is the lesser "problem" in superhero movies so no I do not agree with him. This kind of movies is way too shallow to care about such things. If somebody wants to do a movie like that I mean I would have nothing against it, I do not watch superhero movie in general and I would not watch that movie either, but I find it ridiculous that somebody would care so much about those things in such a shallow product.
There is a clear demand among audiences for engaging, ambiguous, and charismatic villains who operate in a moral gray area - characters like Loki, Magneto (who has allied with the X-Men on numerous occasions, even helping to build a nation for mutants), Doctor Doom, and Venom. Nearly all of them are shaped by past trauma. Whether driven by revenge, justice, protecting their people, or fixing the world, their goals are often noble, but their methods are horrific. They are intelligent, witty, self-assured, and possess a compelling presence.

But let us never forget: darkness distorts the soul. For many villains, features like pale skin, scarlet eyes, or flamboyant outfits are simply an outward reflection of their twisted mentality and a manifestation of their desire to be free from moral rules and enjoy themselves
Modok was very handsome.

Modok was very handsome.

He has a very interesting personality. One of his quotes that stuck with me is the idea that it's easier to tame a monster than an angel; a monster can be restrained by fear, but an angel, being free, can simply fly away.
