I respect that, and I tell them that, but I cant force myself to believe in something simply because Ill be going to hell if I dont. Big red flag for me.
Some people need god to help them, and there is nothing wrong with that. But I cant bring myself to have faith and rely on something that I have no proof even exists.
My ancestors were part of the quaker movement, and while not quakers themselves did believe in god. Proally because of john wynge.
