Jesus was the only man who died a righteous death

So I just got done watching this video a while ago and it made me reconsider what salvation unto Christ means for believers and man in general.

Recently my friend’s dad died of an overdose, and I also attended the ceremony, he was a traditional enough man as many folk in my area are when it comes to the belief in Jesus Christ. And I just thought to myself that he didn’t make it...and he went to hell just for failing in his faith…“if he believed wholeheartedly he wouldn’t have done those things”...whatever they were that lead up to his fate.

Next thing I know, I catch a story about a fellow brother who died and then returned back to life and claimed to have been in heaven and so it got me thinking a lot of things and including of my friend’s dad passing away.

Those who reject the messiah, believe in something else, under the false pretense of once saved always saved, and saved by works are all people that will be rejected by God at the golden gates of heaven. As mere fallible man, we would always have the tendency to sin no matter what, because this is the natural state of man and we don’t live under the loving guidance of our messiah just yet. Infidelity, thievery, and murder, it doesn’t matter what sin you bear, but as long as you’re proud, unrepentant (no regret), and believe you don’t need a savior then you will indeed be rejected by God because you rejected his grace and love first. The once saved always saved crowd and people who live by their works have no need for a savior because in their hearts they already crossed the finish line in their mind and they don’t have to walk with God anymore to the finish line. And the very people who refuse to acknowledge that they need a savior for their sins are in for a big surprise on judgment day. Jeffrey Dauhmer before his life was taken from this world, he was baptized in his prison and believed on the messiah and I do believe he is in heaven because he didn’t reject the love of God and he would never reject you back no matter what.

That leads to my discovery is no man is righteous enough and dying a righteous death is impossible and only Jesus was able to die a righteous death. Even a little innocent old grandma wouldn’t have a righteous death like we think she would. If you’re stuck in sin or a situation that you or God wouldn’t necessarily approve of, then it really isn’t your fault because it’s what God was only able to allow for you in this fallible world (including sins and situations), yet he does have a greater plan for all of us. The wonders of life only went/go so far for many, but you must be willing to bend the knee to God and acknowledge that you need a savior.

The gift of salvation was already sent to everyone and all you need to do is accept it, basically like a digital gift that you receive in your inbox, but you need to humbly accept it and forgo the pride...and the sins...

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Take what Jesus said about not judging others, treating others as you would yourself, love your neighbour and so on.

hmm yeah I know now, it did help me understand more and hopefully makes my next endeavors easier on the conscience.

My sibling believes most of what happens to me is because I dont "believe". We went through the same thing as kids, but they found god after childhood.

I respect that, and I tell them that, but I cant force myself to believe in something simply because Ill be going to hell if I dont. Big red flag for me.

Some people need god to help them, and there is nothing wrong with that. But I cant bring myself to have faith and rely on something that I have no proof even exists.

My ancestors were part of the quaker movement, and while not quakers themselves did believe in god. Proally because of john wynge.

Didn't he die the same way other criminals did at the time? Wasn't he convicted for the same crime other criminals was as well? Else there wouldn't have been a law against it?
