They also got a red cream soda that's really good

Availability is one of the factors I use to rank a rootbeer.
I can buy Barq's at the grocery store, but I can only find Mr. Pibb(not exactly a rootbeer but close enough) at certain restaurants thereby making it almost not worth my time.

i bought some of that in an american store here in the UK, tasted like gargling with toilet duck.

Barqs is one of the worst root beers on the market.


The king of root beer is and always has been A&W. It's not even a contest.

Yes, it does taste medicinal... because sassafras root has been used in medicine for thousands of years. Of course, the nanny state banned real sassafras on pretty flimsy evidence. ♥♥♥♥ RFK Jr. for not pushing to reverse that.
