It's some sort of psychological operation unto the people that yt does.
It's sadly happened to me recently too and every ad was turkish, every related video was that disgusting gibberish. I almost broke the desk that day.
It's yt being disgusting abusive, ignore it.

Somehow I always get the opposite. I try to research global statistics and for some reason google always adds, "in the us," at the end of my query. Perhaps try using a VPN to reset your location. I've noticed with a dynamic IP it can take a couple of days to start getting accurate location services.

If you watch foreign language videos, it will serve you more foreign language videos. And you watch those so it serves you more.

Stop watching them and search for english videos.

Or delete and reset your account.

oh right i forgot to mention that your history is tied to your account in addition to your browser cookies so deleting your cookies does nothing if you're signed in. thnx lobster moth

sometimes when i log into my gmail account on youtube i'll get ads for videos i watched in 2010 since that was the last time i used it

I have the opposite problem where I want to watch videos in multiple languages and they get auto translated and autodubbed into English.
