so the default position is nothing is after death correct? yet when i ask why all i get are these reasons.

there is no proof of life after death. *can never be proof*
it makes no sense to have life after death because the brain is you. * debatable*
we aren't special everything has an end. * we are special the fact that i can type this proves that*

now i think thats the default position because we are raised that way just like you are most likely to be christian in a christian dominated space, you are more likely to think about death this way when its drilled in to your head at a young age.

so my question is why does it make sense to you? and for the record i'm not religious nor am i afraid of death.
i just find the smugness of people who believe this way to be kinda funny like its the most obvious thing ever and you are dumb for questioning it.
