What if America was a social Democracy?
What if America could find its way back to something it once had - the kind of country where the American Dream wasn’t just a slogan but a real possibility? There was a time, not so long ago, when life felt more hopeful, shaped by a social liberalism that didn’t just promise opportunity but also honored the values many hold dear: strong families, close-knit communities, and a sense of responsibility that ran both ways. Back then, the family was seen as the natural foundation of society, supported by policies that helped everyday people get ahead - good schools, stable jobs, and a safety net that didn’t feel like a handout but a handshake. It was an America where strong families and close communities formed the heart of everyday life, and where the hope for a better future was built on the belief that supporting one another, through work, schools, and shared values, was what made the country whole. But over time, trickle-down economics shifted the focus, lifting only a few while the rest struggled to hold on, and that balance slipped away. Now, the American Dream feels like a fading memory, distant and fragile. Yet maybe the answer lies not in picking sides but in reclaiming that old spirit, a future where family, community, and shared prosperity come back together, stronger than ever.

It would be broke due to communism for american anything not what they have now is communism. And most dont want to share prosperity they want to be the one prosperious humans are selfish by nature and social democracy is a dying system
being influenced by and being something directly are two different things. I'm glad that you think socialism has positively influenced the US but to become socialist entirely won't happen because instead of the redistribution of the extremely wealthy now by popular vote the people with full time jobs making a livable income who would then be paying those 50%+ taxes will oppose the system.

But what if a tiny minority has enough power to block positive evolutions for everyone else ?
Then it would collaps.
Because the mindset and evolution of their culture could not bear it.
I see
Global cult say NO
