I just found the same basketball shorts that I used to wear in high school at a thrift store. I loved those shorts.

My old shorts are too small and worn out, but these are a size larger and in mint condition.

I feel like I've won the lottery. I hate modern men's athletic shorts. They are too short and too tight. Shorts should ideally reach down to the top of your knee.

WTF no they should be as small and tight as possible. It's lighter and more aerodynamic.

Sure if you're only goal is to move from point A to point B as efficiently as possible. But in a real 1v1, athletic situation, the billowing fabric of baggy clothes will mask your movement- and your intentions.
