I live in Metro Detroit and I love the game.

Did you play Yakuza 0-6? If not, then Detroit Become Human

I played Detriot its a good game with a good story, i have Hogwarts but have not put much time into the game but i've heard its very good. Haven't played that yakuza game but i enjoyed the older ones, so id recommend Detroit personally.

Side note the character Kazuma Kiryu from yakuza is hot :3

Played both Detroit and Hogwarts and liked them both.

Yakuza is good but I wouldn't recommend it for someone's first game because it is self contained for the most part but has heavy spoilers. Play Yakuza 0, don't bother waiting for Director's Cut, its a stupid version.


I watched my sister play Detroit and enjoyed watching, but I wouldn't play it myself.


Hogwarts I never played because its not my kind of game, and I don't care for HP so idk.

Depends on what do you seek..

Detroit Become Human will probably offer more cinematic experiences, pull some strings towards your emotions, and overall be quite the ride.
I'm not sure how's the roleplay there.

Hogwarts Legacy has used to be hyped because everyone loves Harry Potter, right?
Except that this is yet another open yet empty world about spells, the way I see it.
From the little bit that I played, the characters have mostly lacked the charm and the game's development has felt a bit too unnatural at times, either too slow or too fast, as if forced to try to play at something that it can't achieve.
Despite feeling somewhat immersed, I've felt limited and restricted from what I can do despite knowing what had to be done. You know, the classic roleplay with level based combat system, as well as some RNG.

And lastly, Yakuza.
This is an entire saga as far as I'm aware, so you might want to play through more than just one to get something more out of it.
Either way, I heard that the characters have felt memorable, that they've had some charm to them, and such-
The turn-based combat system is what ultimately drew and still draws me away, so..


I think that Detroit Become Human is your best pick, followed by Yakuza if you can accept the turn based combat system, and then Hogwarts Legacy just because it's sort of unique in its setting, similar to how for example Cyberpunk or Avatar are.

Detroit 1st. Hogwarts 2nd. Yakuza only if you played at least 0, 1 & 2. Or at minimum 0.

Hogwarts is the only one of the lot that I've played. It's pretty good.

I don't think any of them sound fun.

yakuza, but do not start with "like a dragon" because it is very different from much of the series and is also very deep in a continuous plot, so you will not understand some things.

start with "yakuza kiwami 1 and 2" for a good idea of what the series is about in general and see if you wish to continue from there

Yakuza is the better game but only if you played the other Yakuza entries
Otherwise get Detroit if you absolutely HAVE to get something
