If immigration doesn't work, why don't countries close their borders?
Genuine question; no nonsense/bigotry/etc.
It's insanely impressive how much it's not working in the Canada.
It absolutely is NOT working in the UK.
It ain't working in Russia.
It ain't working in the US.
It ain't working in Japan.
It ain't working in Poland.

I mean, jesus christ. How does a country look at all this evidence around the world (plus their own, when applicable), and think, "Let's let them in!"? What is their logic? Maybe the reasoning is super simple and I'm just ignorant.

Because some people like moving abroad? What kind of question is this?

What evidence?

For instance, studies one after another show that in the US both documented and undocumented immigrants commit less crimes on average (per capita) than natural-born citizens (if you exclude the misdemeanor of unauthorized border crossings by the undocumented).

Immigrants are also needed because they do the kinds of jobs that locals will not. Agriculture would be in huge trouble without immigration.

Immigration also responds the issue of declining birth rates and aging population. When the population ages, there will be less people in working age and more older people using services and creating demand for workers.

If they are such a boon, why won't their countries want them back?

Checkmate.

because too many bought-and-paid-for-by-zionists politicians in those countries fight the border closure, in order to destabilize those countries so their zionist sugardaddies can take over

The real question is why do the left have the double standard of calling their ancestors colonizer, (a term which has become a slur with negative connotation) while at the same time being pro unabated immigration, which inevitably becomes a modern form colonization?

In the past it was bad for people to go out seek a better life abroad, but today it is good when people do it. why is that?

Colonization wasn't "seeking a better life abroad".

i mean, look into history why people moved out of their country and moved to, America, for example.

Which is different than colonization.

you didnt explain what is different, why one is bad, but the other isnt.

The intention to make a better life for themselves, for their kids and their family is spread evenly across time, whether you look to the past or to the present.
Here in the UK i think its 2 things.

The first is to demoralise and erode British culture and values. Its hard to fight back when you're divided as a people.

The second is to prop up the economic numbers. Our country has been in decline for decades. And we have probably been in a recession for several years already, but mass immigration has been hiding those numbers, making it seem like we have been growing slightly.

Colonization was when a country would take over another country either through trade, military, or religion with the soul purpose of profiting while exploiting the natives.

It also involves them using their power to impose their beliefs, languages, and culture to eventually assimilate.

Well, in the US one side thinks they can electorally benefit from flooding the system,
Cheating Seat apportionment is just the start
https://youtu.be/I4x78e-l4pU

They also have a vast patronage network using public money to take care of these people, everyone takes a cut, no different from how hundreds of millions are spent on California's homeless but the NGOs soak up the majority of it.

Its become a way to steal, and a way to acquire cheap servants, there are perverse incentives all around, but it never pays for itself, which is why the Democrats are currently holding the government hostage demanding states be compensated for the medical costs of the illegal immigrants.

In other countries its like they've imbibed the religious rationalization "nation of immigrants" with a complete disconnect

But honest it comes down to this

Study: US is an oligarchy, not a democracy
https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-echochambers-27074746

Elite beliefs are the only ones that move the system, so the elites bought into the religion of a nation of immigrants so they fell in line no matter how absurd it was, all across the world.

Its why the UK is parroting the line when it was never true.
https://youtu.be/83KgveS9bdk

Only when elite opinion starts to shift do things change, as seen with the recent election.

Some people would say that sounds like a deeps state conspiracy theory.

personally, i think there's something more to it than 'theory'

Kudos and have nice day
