China does spend a lot of money on propaganda in western countries for sure. They've been paying influencers for a while now to talk them up, and trash the west.
That doesn't even make sense because the US continued to be a peak economic powerhouse and exporter well after that was past. In fact many consider the 80's and 90's to be the golden age of the US.
6. Federal spending on everything that isn't helping their aforementioned constituents
1. Weak leadership
2. Declining Tr*mp economy
4. Corruption
Oh, you see what I did there?
They even released some propaganda video mocking the weakness of American soldiers by demonstrating that slurs would hurt them into tears, and they're right lmao.
Alas, CCP spies found in the UK but they refuse to arrest or deport them. That country is c o o k e d.
Oh yeah, at this rate unless something is done, this Chinese takeover will happen in our lifetimes (applies only to cis people)
And you know what? I don't care, if the people are dumb enough to fall for it, fair game, good strat.
americans live in a literal dictatorship and they dont care, both parties are a different flavour of fascist imperialist capitalism and americans do literally 0 to change that
ironically europeans do more then americans to push for systematic change in their countries, even if minor in the grand scheme

If only the people harmed by their intellectual incompetence were the ones dumb enough to fall for it. The reality is, there will be a lot of collateral damage from it.
The 50's were the golden age and the New Deal Era.
Wall Street is not Main Street. What we did in the 80's is do everything to appease "Wall Street' as the working class got fleeced. That is where we are, and Europe are quite frankly today.
Too much emphasis was put on making corporations money, and fighting these wars to make them money, whilst cutting taxes to unsustainable rates, that in the end brought us mass debt, a fleecing of the middle class having to live off of cheap credit rather than real dollars, and a power structure beholden to wealthy interests that have brought on the "neoliberal' politics and infrastructure we see today.
Compounded of course by the Citizens United Case, and political parties pandering to wealthy interests to fund their campaigns.
That in short, is why we are where we are.
