RIP teeth
I generally like arabica dark roast lungo.
and ofcourse I drink it black
I not care much for the brand (though I do avoid some budget brands as they taste bad)
but normal perla coffee (housebrand from Albert Hein the main dutch supermarkedcchain) and douwe egberts (the main dutch brand) are both totally fine.
actual nespresso cups are ok too.
australian cups were last week in discount.. at 8 euro per 10 cups I normally not buy those.. but they tasted fine too.. (but not fine enough to pay THAT much without a 50% or more discount)
coffee ofcourse is always drunken only black...
-
you americans with your milkshakes with 1 drop of watered down coffee in it.. that aint coiffee..
though I do admit that on rare occations I do enjoy the vanilla coffee from nespresso (which unlike those who toss syryp in the coffee has zero sugar.. it just add a bit of spice to the dark coffee)
and if I reaaally feel adventurous.. I put a little nutmet and/or cocoa powder in my dark coffee
(no not some fake stuff I mean littlerly the droste/van houten cocoa solids 100% pure cocoa.. very bitter..)
but well any of that as stated is rare.. coffee, hot, black, plain. thats how it should be.
any reason for that?
last time I went buying coffee it was like 8-9 euro for 40 cups... (I have a nespresso machine)..
and I was like well THAT sure gotten expensive.. wasn't that only a year ago halve?
-
even the budgetbrand I never buy has gotten up from like 2.70 to 4.50 per 40 cups..
it is remenecant of how butter went from 80 cents to 3 euro.. and similair idiotic pricehikes in years past...
but as I drink only 1 or 2 cups a day... buy it anyway... and generally don't buy the cheapest (for it taste bad) not the most expensive (since it only tastes a little better but costs 5x as much) but the sensible middle of the road option.
milk in morning, tea at midday, coffee at evening, alcohol and soda at night.
