it is not contained to internet sadly.. ai slob infects science, news.. education.. social interaction in the real world too.. it takes the brainrot of the mobile phone adicted idioits.. to a whole new level..

Over time, people will learn to use AI correctly, and it will find its niche.

its true. now its the most boring people ever online

so far i have got enjoyment out of some of the new ai creations
and also boredom from the less skilled scammer advertising type users...

i do have concerns that it will get used as a greed machine... then it will just be junk to me..

Hmm - sad when they do political content. The majority being pro Russian and right wing content. And then the people vote for certain things.

I don´t think it´s niche though, because "intelligence" is the defining factor for humans.

Same reason why "rawdogging" now means logging out and putting down the phone, there is an actual world out there with real people who no longer subscribe to the failed cccp cultural revolution over the last decade by the failed party.

The internet was already dead by 2019 and 2020 imo, but I would say corpos and people killed it for taking such platforms for granted. Imagine if a new person showed up to a small gathering and left after only saying one word or none and simply went to be at another different place. It’s a worse feeling than getting ghosted by women. On the corpo side no one wants to be monitored or policed and have to self censor themselves because the mods are bringing in more than just the surface level rules. Though to be fair the purpose of any community should be beyond talking like the entire purpose of clubs in the recreational sense with a specific goal in mind. And that’s where yet again corpos strike again with various walls…like mobile games irl is way more p2w leading to even less people in spaces. And corpos yet again…their main goal is not to foster a community but then the people strike there as well because for many that’s not their initial intentions either.

It’s jaded all around but one has to be realistic and not naive.

I´ve seen this. But it´s not niche. It could replace the majority of jobs in western countries. Without being intelligent at all, because a badly programmed script will do the same. Like it´s about office jobs, and comparing numbers and making decision based on probability.

But that´s more related to data collection and companies who rather avoid risks. Because everything has to be about efficiency, and productivity - or in short: money. Fun isn´t worth it, if it doesn´t earn money. Fun must be faked if it earns money.

Like when people say that they want to do sports to be more productive - it means life has no meaning any more, and "they" have won. One does sports either because one feels better, or to attract other people. One never does sports to be more productive, except it´s about to win the hangman´s knot knotting challenge.

Yep. Before I quit Reddit ages ago (before 2020), I used to see bots spitting out my posts all the time. 2020 is also when tons of AI-written articles flooded the web, even from AP, the news wire service that set a standard for journalistic writing.
