Dynamite still has its place in the world no need to get grouchy because they used streams and nuclear things.
Okay why not?
And did you like the original?
It was at least a better attempt than whatever the heck that abomination before that was.
Afterlife was by the numbers (I mixed it up with the frozen one). To me, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. It was at least better than the Answer the Call "Ha ha fat lady fall down and angry leslie jones does leslie jones things" trash fiesta.
-Mini Stay Puft marshmallow men are here for member berries
-Paul Rudd does Paul Rudd stuff
-all the original Ghostbusters are back, except... kinda not. They use CG to bring back a dead actor to what he looked like in the 80's... which is kinda perverse, but okay, Hollywood decides to revive dead actors with CG already...
You can tell this film was trying to make new fans of the series, while trying to keep old fans happy.
I'm okay with it, just didn't work for me.
Best movie I've seen in a while.

They asked the family for permission to use his likeness, and after viewing the film said his portrayal was tasteful and they had no objections. Note he never spoke, that was at the family's request I believe.
Overall the movie was ok, felt a bit campy for me, but in general 6/10 not bad not great.
But, I'm glad you liked it.
If you look at the 4 original Ghostbusters they all had something interesting and quirky about them, Paul Rudd in contrast just seems ... boring.
