People been going to NK for long time to report on it.
Vice News did two that I saw from them. First one was 'look how weird these people are' and the second was 'lets embrace the experience'.
There is a lot of 'try hard' by the people of NK to appear 'normal' and successful.
There are lots of videos of the youtuber travellers going to places around the planet including NK.
Some are good some not so.
My natural way to point out the obvious or my opinion would get me and other people in trouble so I would not visit there.
Youtubers are the modern prostit***tes of the internet, they do anything for likes and Google money, even eat their own mother, so they obviously apply, disregarding the risks involved.
Japan is under US occupation for way too long.
Korea is under occupation since civil war. Vietnam had also the same, but US flee from Vietnam and they reunited.
Singapore need to finaly kick off Brits.
That'd be risky; as N. Korea's a state that's governed extremely sadistically; and a LOT of what is online is constructs, nothing but.
End of story until they get a new leader.
To most people... having "North" in the name,
is just a geographical designation, not anything derogatory.
Never understood why East Virginia gets to be so special, but whatever.
North Korea does not identify itself as "North Korea". They are the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Much like China does not recognize the sovereignty of Taiwan, The DPRK does not recognize South Korea's.
At least, they didn't up until they reclassified South Korea as a "hostile state".
