Women in Power: Western Europe’s Model for Modern Governance
Look at the countries leading the world in education, wellbeing, and good governance, and you’ll notice something striking. They all have one thing in common, strong representation of women in power.

Sweden: Women hold nearly half of parliamentary seats. It ranks among the top three globally for gender equality and governance quality. Its healthcare system consistently sits in the world’s top five, offering universal access and exceptional outcomes.

Finland: Finland was the first European country to grant women full political rights in 1906. Today, it ranks first globally in education and remains the happiest nation in the world according to the 2025 World Happiness Report.

Denmark: Denmark consistently ranks in the top five worldwide for happiness, transparency, and education. Its healthcare system is publicly funded and performs among the best in Europe.

Spain: Women now hold nearly half of all parliamentary seats. Spain ranks among Europe’s highest for healthcare performance, preventive medicine, and social policy innovation.

Netherlands: The Netherlands ranks within the global top ten for innovation, education, and human development. Four in ten members of parliament are women, and its social systems reflect that diversity. Healthcare access is excellent, and living standards remain among the highest in Europe.

Switzerland: Switzerland’s journey is inspiring. Women gained national voting rights only in 1971, yet they now hold nearly 40 percent of parliamentary seats. The country ranks among the world’s best for healthcare, education, and economic stability.

Austria: Austria ranks in the world’s top twenty for stability, healthcare, and quality of life. Its universal healthcare system is among Europe’s most efficient, and education access is strong.

Western Europe has shown how well equality works. Yet the United States, a country that prides itself on opportunity still lags behind. Women make up just over a quarter of Congress. Why is that?

Don't forget the lettuce.

Edit: Sorry, I meant Liz Truss. I confused her with the lettuce.

Was she? Some say she was the greatest prime minister of the modern history.

She tackled the high inflation of the 1970s and turned London into one of the global hubs of the world.

Sweden is also the r*pe capital of Europe and all of the listed countries are suffering from record levels of immigration and civil strife. This immigration has led to violence, riots, theft, murder, grooming gangs, etc. So yeah women leaders aren't doing that great of a job in current year. As for the past European queens waged more wars then kings so it's pretty evident that female rule isn't a very good thing.

It's higher in Sweden because reporting rates are higher in developed nations.

Sweden counts a much wider range of acts as “sexual assault” than most countries.

You dont know the difference between Thatcher and Theresa May.

Angela Merkel. Single handedly destablized a whole continent with her open borders policy.

Correlation does not equal Causality and i am all for more Women in powerful positions.
The OP reads like virtue signalling met a buzzfeed infographic.

Reminder that Finland's only female prime minister (now ex-PM after losing elections to the male-led conservative party) was publicly caught cheating on her husband at a party and one city spent millions on a women-led anti-assault campaign which included a cringy TikTok dance that everyone made fun of. Inspiring stuff :LaughMask:

Cherry-picking works surprsingly well for any narrative.

One example against the seven I listed? Now that's cherry picking.

That's been my conclusion as well whenever I see their threads and posts but welp, my neurodivergence makes it hard to always tell the difference between trolling and seriousness. Which ends up being a good excuse to just play along and watch the chaos unfold
