A lot of the American conservatives aren't necessarily pro-Israel to begin with, they see the country as a realistic model to create a right-wing ethnostate that can easily crush political dissent via mass surveillance and war crimes.

For instance, ICE is currently using an Israeli spyware tool that was used to hack into the phones of Palestinians towards immigrants in the name of "safety". But it's going to be used against all Americans next.

Israel is behind a lot of our mass surveillance, they used facial recognition software that was used towards Palestinians[www.npr.org] onto American pro-Palestinian protestors in order to expel them.[www.timesofisrael.com]
