A Deal has been reached to open government. Democrats have caved....
https://www.axios.com/2025/11/09/senate-deal-to-end-government-shutdown-sunday-vote

"The deal includes a December vote on a Democratic proposal to extend ACA tax credits for one year, multiple sources said. It would take 60 votes to pass."

"It also includes language aimed at providing assistance to federal employees who were laid off during the shutdown, as well as a provision to fund SNAP benefits through Sept. 30."

"While no deal is final until lawmakers have voted, the agreement could end weeks of deadlock in the Senate."

"And the White House is on board."

And so, a promise to have a vote in December for Obamacare with a 60 vote majority that may fail Dec, which was going to be voted on anyway before Jan.

"Assistance" to federal workers who were laid off during and due to the shutdown. I suppose they still lost their jobs, but would not have if not for the shutdown.

And food stamps (SNAP) funded. That would have been funded if no shutdown.

And so, what was this Shutdown about again?

Given your track history with finding relevant information that actually matches claims. Yeah, I'm not going to be reading your post for the details.

But, if they did indeed find an agreement. Well, had to happen at some point. Otherwise it was getting rather ridiculous.

Trump's lawyer ratted out in loud that the SNAP benefits not paying is a levage against the Democrats... aka slaving US Citizens to benefit the Turmpism cult... Wow, just wow. They keep saying the quiet parts out loud! What a dumb lawyer, such he be ICED for not being fully white and loyal to the cult? Discarded and thrown under the bus. Not paid like all Trump's ex-laywers who own millions of dollars in fines. RIP sucker.

I'll have to check myself seeing as Axios is a known Liberal nutbar site.

I'm just wondering what the Democrats got out of it. All they got is what would have happened anyway if there was no shutdown.

The 2025 US Government Shutdown has shown that the Trump Administration is willing to starve people without caring which will propel the Democratic Party in heightening popularity in future State, County, and National elections. While about 4 State Republicans did attempt to pass bills to help the poor and needy, they are Bipartisan which could prove a downfall of the Trump Administration's attempt at reconstructing the Republican Party.

Right now, as it stands, it is seen as a win for the Democratic Party to end the shutdown and shows more empathy on their part which will resonate positively with the US people.

Trump's own laywer mentioned that but shh! It's a secret the Trumpism cult isn't meant to know. They slaving US Citizens for a leverage over the Democrats. LMAO, during Thanksgiving and even Christmas... wow, just wow... with playing the hunger games twice with their own ultra-rich party and meals.

"Democrats" once again proving they are actually Republicans.
There are no "democrats" in Yee-Haw-Distan, only controlled opposition. Conspiring to put on a show for the common masses & pretend they're seperate parties.

So really, MAGA shouldn't dislike democrats, because it's the same as disliking your fellow MAGAT's. Nice performance though, USians.

I mean, what the Republicans are saying, is what they been saying. If the government wasn't shut down, there would be no SNAP cuts.

If the government wasn't shut down, there would not be the people in need of assistance being they weren't being laid off in the Fed Government..

And the Obamacare subsidies had to be voted on anyway before Jan, but with 60 votes it may not even pass.

Idk, i suppose it is true, SNAP will be funded and Trump won't starve them, but Democrats who he blamed for the shutdown just back pedaled is all they did, based on that threat.

What a waste of time and effort. Come Dec though if that vote don't pass, we'll back here again Jan 30.

Well, he as all but one more year left. He's gonna lose the House, but with Dems in charge idk if they have the backbone to take on Trump. They may capitulate everything too him.

Though he does have a year, and that one year scary enough.
