Everyone who inquires only wants the grey female. I literally have four other boys, one grey and three blonde, but no one ever asks for them. Someone once asked for her and a blonde boy, but she is actually bonded with a grey boy. Dealing with five foster kittens is difficult enough, but the thought of separating them from each of their bonds breaks my heart. I want them to be together.

I tested how selfish people are; when I advertised that they were bonded, I received far fewer responses, but when I did, they wanted me to split them apart. When I removed the part to which they were bonded, people began flocking in droves. I am feeling anxious and disgusted with humanity right now.

I am afraid I will never find homes for them. I am sick both physically and emotionally about this. I also get asked the most ridiculous questions, such as whether they have had their shots, if they are fixed, if they are indoors and litter trained, and so on. My ad clearly states that I fostered them from a life of living in the cold under someones porch, brought them inside, and litter trained them... they are kittens, so they will make mistakes, but they are doing well with the litterbox. I am already doing my part; however, I cannot afford to fix all five or take them to the vet. They are all healthy anyway.

I am so hard on myself. I tried to do the right thing, but I am just stuck between a rock and hard place. I already have four of my own rescues. I would not mind just keeping all of these too, but I can not afford to fix them for around $200 each. Also that would make me go from having just four to nine. I just lack the funds and space.

Is it really so bad that I do not want to separate the silver girl and boy, or the two blonde boys? Is it wrong to take them to a shelter with a two-kitten policy? After all, they have more resources than I do to find them good homes, and they have connections to get them spayed and neutered for a much lower cost, so people will not just want them to breed them.
