I haven't seen an action figure for decades.. They used to last, seemingly forever. I guess the quality and the make of must be low. You must mean the action figures that were made to put on a shelf not actually be used, the cosmetic junk.

Me personally I keep my figures in the original packaging. I'm a collector and I usually don't like to play with them.
