If you had everything in the world but nobody to enjoy it with, you would still feel empty. If you had nothing in the world but had people to enjoy it with, you would at least have the comfort of suffering together

I think i forgot to add that there are tons of people live alone their entire lives just fine. Having companies is good but not exactly about romantic partners.

People have forgotten what romance is. It's actually in the word. 'Rome-ance', and it's not much different than someone today describing 'cosmopolitan' culture, as in comparing it to Roman culture specifically.

My wife and I dated for 14 years, married for 11 years… 12 year old daughter.

TBF, I believe in lust at first sight and that love takes time and patience. You’re better off in love by making a partner out of a friend.
