ps: All the democrats showed up for the meeting... none but one of the Republicans actually turned up for it. Trump clearly either wants the shutdown for the plan under Project 2025 to justify more of a power grab, hense why he's demanding for the "nuclear option" of dropping the Filibuster... or... 3 shutdowns and the longest in US History is a real narcissistic achievement to be recorded!

As of today (11/6/25) it's been 37 days, actually. The shutdown will continue into the end of the November with the way Democrats and Republicans keep arguing in Congress.

According to Bernie Sanders, he wants Democrats to keep the government shut down until Republicans cave into Democrat demands of funding Obamacare indefinately.

So Bernie Sanders wants to hold the government hostage over funding Obamacare that has done nothing but raise healthcare insurance costs every single year since its inception?

You do know since 2017 - Trump's Admin has be demanding the removal of US Healthcare, such as that Obamacare... so they were asked what would replace it. Back then they said they weren't ready to disclose that to the public yet. Now in 2025, they got asked again and the reply was that they have a concept of a plan, and that plan is to remove it because they want it cheaper and better. So umm ok, what's the plan? Umm... remove it (due to Project 2025) and umm well remove it, Trump's admin will let you know some day or perhaps just not replace it at all? It's complex. Since 2017 they still don't have any plan except for removing it. It's like they did even bother try come up with one or just asked AI perhaps to generate it for them like they did with the DOGE cuts and Trump Tariffs (both of which you can ask 3 different AIs to generate and they all make the very same mistakes and miscalculations - for example: Trump's tariffs are based upon trade inbalance between countries not the foreign tariffs)
