steamOS works fine on my deck, but I wouldn't know beyond the deck. Mint was very easy to install, I just flashed a USB drive and was up and running within 30 minutes. I barely notice the difference from Windows 10, honestly.

Arch requires a large amount of specific modification that I steered clear. Ign'ant there.
