has similarities to rimworld, but is also very different and unique in many ways. also one of my favourite games of all time, so bit tough to be speaking unbiased about it. but kenshi and rimworld fans often recommend the other game to fans of their game.
thats the beauty of kenshi, there is no clear goal. you are put in a sandbox with various factions, monsters, locations, hazards and such, and you do whatever you want. you can follow along with certain factions, you can be an explorer, you can be a raider, you can be a smuggler, a slaver, a slave emancipator, a farmer, you can build bases or be a traveling salesman or trader. you can be a pacifist, a religious zealot, a bounty hunter, an artefact hunter. you can roam the wastelands alone, or with allies.
the only real constant goal is "do not die", because everything and everyone is constantly trying to kill you at all times and kenshi is a harsh game that expects you to suffer.
