Don bluth

I don't get his movies, he is supposedly good and everyone loves him but i'v seen two of his movies now and they are just kinda bad? and i know they are for kids but thats no excuse!

the movies being pebble and the penguin and troll in central park which was kinda good minus stanely

the animation itself in his movies is very beautiful, and much of the aesthetic and subject matter is often dark. i do think the stories in his films are not always the greatest, but secret of NIMH is one of my favourite animated films of all time. i wish don bluth would have done more dark fantasy films like it

"A Troll in Central Park" is widely considered one of his worst movies so not a good measurement for his talent.

I mostly remember him for Dragon's Lair and Space Ace, but I have seen some movies.

Rock a Doodle is a movie I loved as a kid, and while I still get enjoyment out of it, it really is just a bunch of nonsense with an ending I hated even back then.
