Can anyone recommend a co-op or multiplayer game that is newbie friendly?
Hi. I want to try a new co-op or multiplayer game that is newbie friendly.
I have played Left 4 Dead 1+2, Back 4 Blood, Overwatch, Apex Legends and several others, but I have lost interest in them.
I would like a game without cheaters and a game that's easy to get into.
It must be cheap or free to play, and with an active community (playerbase).
Not interested in BF or COD franchise, or games that runs spyware when you play.
Any recommendations?

I have tried Awesomenauts (several years ago?), but a lot have probably changed..
Will try it out.
Still open for more recommendations. :)

It seems to be shooters you like. Try earth defense 5, any borderlands, and the halo collection. If you've got real money to burn, you could look at space marine 2 and gears of war.

I want to try Space Marine 2, but I am waiting for the next sale.
I have tried Borderlands (except the new one).
I have also tried Halo collection (when I had game pass), and Gears of War.
I am downloading Warframe at the moment, but I am reading that the game is a big grind, so I am not sure I will enjoy it.
I have already tried Destiny 2, and it was fun for a while, but then it became boring (and a big grind).
You also mention Earth Defense 5. I might try that one. Looks fun.

-This series is a great 4p shooter. 5 is the best place to start if you've never played any before. If you like it, move on to 6.

-It does. That's why I recommended it, but Microsoft is being greedy with its price, so I'd suggest waiting for a big discount.
