Orbital bombardment can ruin anyone's day too.
The Space Marine is a trained fighter... Doomslayer is just an untrained civilian who has been winging it while being carried by that armor.

Doomslayer would lose because Space Marines fight in groups with support and he is solo.

A space marine vs doomslayer? Slayer wins every time. An army of space marines? That might give him a run for his money

I feel like doomslayers weapons would be a mix of absolutely useless to potentially overpowered against a space marine.

I think doomslayer would win because of his arsenal. He's fought some very powerful enemies that probably come close to a space marine. He's fast and quick thinking and I don't think a single or potentially a squad of marines could beat him.

But if it isn't a regular marine then might be different.

I mean doomslayer killed what was essentially a primarch in Doom Eternal

the average space marine compares unfavorably with cyberdemons. hellknights are already comparable.

doomslayer is basically a hero scout marine, meaning the sky's the limit more or less.

Named Space Marine has plot armor.

anything stronger than a sergeant is basically being weighed down by their equipment rather than helped.

Doomslayer has been playing on EZ mode by fighting mindless demon hordes.

The demonic invasion destroyed most of the Earth and the moon in the first month and Mars is almost broken apart.

Space Marines has more then enough to deal with.

Space Marines? Terran Marines? Doomguy? all one and the same. Amazing what one can achieve when their very life is on the line.

Nah, he's more like an Imperial Guardsman with the light power armor that's worn by rich civilians in the Imperium as well as Adepta Sororitas.

A space marine would win.

The Space Marine has durability roughly equivalent to a Hell Guard I would say. (one of the bosses in Doom 2016)
Doomguy has nothing that can easily one-shot a Space Marine while Space Marines basic ranged weapons are designed to defeat heavy personal armor like Doomguys suit.

But the main reason a Space Marine would win is probably because of superior detection and reaction time. He simply spots and shoots Doomguy first.
