Does Kids Still Read Goosebumps books to this Day?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6LUIAi5ppc

"Goosebumps" author R.L. Stine is still writing more than 70 years after he started

So I was happy to see him again and surprised that he is still alive with his pen

then I got real sad and wondered if anyone know if his Goosebumps sale is still going strong?

I wouldn't be surprised if Five Nights at Freddy's Franchise surpassed Goosebumps during this ERA

Either way I still feel sad about this and miss the 90's already before Ai and other scary stuff :ww2infantry::bonfire2::estusfull::er_sad::bonfire2::ww2infantry::sob_boy::praisesun:

I highly doubt most have even heard of this. Many kids today are playing games rather than reading. I'd imagine most are quite clueless to anything that isn't some kind of fortnite skin
I was always more of a Bunnicula fan.

Reading, actually reading, is at historically low levels for age groups 5-8 and 8-18. Children of both age groups who reported low levels of enjoyment from reading, still recognized the educational value of it.

Age group 8-18 has largely been raised by social media like Snapchat, Tiktok and Youtube, using ipads and smartphones (A continuing trend in the upbringing of the younger generations) and while 1 in 3 said they enjoyed reading, only 18.7% read daily in their free time, so both age groups are more likely to go on social media (or play video games) than voluntarily picking up a book.

For the age group 5-8, reading has mostly been replaced by animations and social media generated content for younger viewers and audio books.

Both age groups select reading materials that align with their favorite film or tv series, cartoons, comic books, song lyrics, or materials that align with their other personal interests, hobbies and media they already recognize as part of their cultural life or what's popular at the time. And sadly, I highly doubt that many under the age of 20 enjoy reading Goosebumps.
Yes they do. I'm an adult and still read and watch the shows myself. I have a son in 2nd grade. I try to get them when the Schoolistic book fair comes up at his school every year, and they still sell them
