and really, i feel like the distinction between AAA and indie has blurred so much now. if an "indie" game can be as unbelievable in quality as hollow knight and silksong, but "AAA" can be some of the worst garbage you have ever played, i feel like those titles mean less.
indie games used to be smaller, cheaper, shorter. and many still are, but many are also as high in quality if not more so than AAA titles.
It's like a Pixar movie. I really should get back to it.
